QR Code, Barcode and Data Matrix Marking on Stainless Steel

QR code marking on stainless steel creates permanent, machine-readable identification directly on a durable metal tag. We use fiber-laser marking for QR codes, 1D barcodes, Data Matrix codes, serial numbers, text and other variable identification data on SS304 and SS316.

Barcode marking on stainless steel and Data Matrix marking on stainless steel are also available when the application requires a different machine-readable code format. Each tag can carry fixed information or unique variable data for asset tracking, maintenance records, traceability and equipment identification.

Laser-marked stainless steel tags are commonly selected where conventional printed identification may be unsuitable because of repeated handling, abrasion, weather, chemicals or long service periods. Tag grade, thickness, marking method and mounting should be selected for the actual operating environment.
